A Bush hit piece in poorly-executed disguise.

This is just nonsense.

There aren't many conservatives out there that think like this. (Most do see Kerry as a danger to this country's security.)

We have been attacked. All that garbage goes right out the window.

More tripe from the left.

I would rather rip my toenails off with rusty pliars than watch a president Kerry on TV for 4 years.

Another liberal tries to convince Republicans to abandon their President. I'll stick with the "bird in hand" theory.

Sounds like nothing more than wishful thinking from the left.

It's amazing how many leftists are buying into the fantasy of conservatives secretly hoping for a Kerry victory. If history is any guide, this is yet another projection - i.e. there are legions of supposed Kerry supporters secretly hoping for a Bush victory (which makes a lot more sense).

I don't believe for a second Tom Delay said that. Or if he did, he was being sarcastic. Give me a break...

Although I most of this article is crap (Gridlock isn't the end of the world for us), I will say one thing..

Republicans and Conservatism will survive if Kerry wins.

Democratcs and Liberalism may very well die (or atleast the beginning of the end) when Bush wins. They will be shattered and splintered for decades to come when Bush wins.

#2 is definently GREAT :).

But it's devastatingly important that we hold solid control of the House and Senate.

Kerry + Dem House/Dem Senate is a disaster that may very well bring an end and destroy this glorious civiliation our fore-fathers have built for us.

That being said.. Let's go Bush!

This is a repost, and I disagree as much with it now as I did when it first reared its head.

No one can point to any "conservative" with perhaps the exception of the ultra-right John Birchesque types who equate George Bush with Ted Kennedy that would celebrate a Kerry win.

I saw our President in person yesterday (Pittsburgh rally). I am happy to report that the level of energy and excitement was higher than I've ever observed before for a politician. The base is definitely motivated, conservatives will work harder for his reelection than for any election in memory.

Now if he'd turn back on that silly the "we're turning the corner . . . " slogan!

Like taking your car in for a tune-up and having the mechanic take a sledge hammer to the engine so you can have the privilage of buying a new car later?

Conservativisim 'snatches victory from the jaws of defeat' so oftem because LIBRALISIM ALWAYS SCREWS EVERYTHING UP!

Since they have the press on their side they will never be held to account for their policies MASSIVE failures, and so they get another shot.

Though, to be honest i believe if they get in in Nov. any failures will be so huge that they will finally be associated with the level of 'success' that they actually deserve.

The only problem being that a decently large swath of America my be a smoking ruin.

Don't kid yourself, this election is as important as they come--I'd LOVE to vote for someone other than Bush on the purity angle but I'm voteing for Dubya on the sanity angle.

As Bob Dole might say: "Only Bob Dole is Bob Dole. The current President is no Bob Dole. That's what Bob Dole thinks."

The Houston Barnicle is one of the most liberal newspapers around and is losing subscribers every day. The editor in chief thought they could change the look of the paper and then it would stop their bleeding. It looks worse and it will keep losing subscribers.

Wishful thinking from the Barnicle.
