I saw our President in person yesterday (Pittsburgh rally). I am happy to report that the level of energy and excitement was higher than I've ever observed before for a politician. The base is definitely motivated, conservatives will work harder for his reelection than for any election in memory.
Now if he'd turn back on that silly the "we're turning the corner . . . " slogan!

That slogan is cutting through the bullsh*t. It may seem quaint to you, as your presence here indicates a much deeper cognizance of current events. This is language that connects with "prime time viewers".
