4 team deal. I hope they don't get the Big Unit.

I'm listening to the Yankees now.
They are getting ready to announce a trade, too, according to Stirling and Steiner. They don't have clearance to disclose it yet.
We'll see what's up. I heard Matt(?) Clement is going to Boston.

Last I read/heard, Johnson is staying in Arizona.
Benson (Pirates) and Zambrano (Tampa Bay) went to the Mets yesterday. I don't know what pitchers could be left.
Stirling just said he was waiting for confirmation on the Garciaparra trade on the Yankees post game show. Both he and Steiner said a trade had been made by the Yankees as they began the post game show. That fits, the Yankees wouldn't announce a trade during the game.
The Yanks need a pitcher, they almost have to make some kind of a trade.

Inevitable given the A-Rod fiasco last season. Might as well get what they can while they can before Nomar told them to go Cheney. Boston Red Sox, snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory since 1918TM.

That's "veteran baseball man, Theo Epstein", to you, sonny.

Stirling just says: Contreras to Chisox for Loiza, and free agent Olerud (first base) coming to Yankees.
Sox get the Carbrera (SS) and Mankawicz(?)(1B). longjack

Why on earth does Chicago make that trade?
To: F16Fighter
Olerud? Are we collecting 1st basemen now? (That's 3).
I like Contreras for Loiza.
Nomar leaving Boston sounds good on the surface, but I'd like to hear the details first.
