Defending Bush

Once again, I feel I need to correct some idiot back home that has nothing better to do than bash our President. I am a soldier from Williamsport serving in Iraq and I think Mr. Ben Cantymagli and everyone else that has nothing better to do than watch the news and believe everything you hear should act on the very things they say President Bush does wrong.
Yeah, he might have somehow made the unemployment rate high, but a bunch of lazy people also helped him. Yeah, you say he has done some other things, but are you still alive? Well, you can most likely thank him for that.
If you think he or anyone else on this earth could have stopped 9/11, you are wrong. It was bound to happen because these people hate us and the way we live. If you can produce one possible thing he could have done better to stop it, they would have found another way to get around it.
Just like they do here. We find ways to stop them doing one thing, and the next day they find another way to try and get us. You also say he is sending "countless young Americans to war".
Where do you get your facts from? Check this: Along with 32 other guys in my platoon, I volunteered to come here and try to make things better. Most of us are young and in one case right out of high school. We also have many guys over the age of 40.
Since you have so many bad things to say about our President and how he’s doing things wrong, what are you doing to help out? I'm guessing watching the news, like everyone else that never has anything good to say. I don’t know you or how old your are, but you can’t say "I’m too old" or "I have a family."
I’ve got a family too, and yeah, there are two gentleman in my platoon that are over the age of 50. Yes, they have a big family and great jobs.
So I suggest you keep your comments to yourself (and that goes for everyone else) until I either see you over here or your name on a election ticket.

Let's hope every military member asks everyone of their family and friends to personally make sure at least two others are registered to vote, and to vote for Mr. Bush. America's posterity depends upon it.

Our Military, in the outer reaches of the world need to have their votes counted!
