I believe that Grover Norquist is an anti-Semite; let's not forget Jude Wanniski another light of the anti-tax, supply-side pundit corps supported Calypso Louie Farakhan, who is not only a Muslim maniac (I don't think he's a terrorist though, and don't mean to imply he is) but also actually insane.

I totally agree. Grover is a brillant man. Most of his attackers here couldn't carry 5% of his IQ. But I too don't know why he doesn't drop the Muslim gig until it's a little safer.

However, it appears that folks of all political stripes develop attachments for repugnant allies, and find them difficult to cut loose. Even at FR.

Pat Buchanan is one example, and for reasons of his own, Grover Norquist is another.

I wonder what tune of dudgeon Grover's defenders here would whistle if it had been Buchanan who had facilitated jihadist access to President Bush?
