Grover Norquist is a smart guy. He's always been ahead of the curve on taxation issues and the dire need for tax reform. Still, I've never understood his fascination - and willingness to work with - certain segments of - uhh -"society."

I totally agree. Grover is a brillant man. Most of his attackers here couldn't carry 5% of his IQ. But I too don't know why he doesn't drop the Muslim gig until it's a little safer.

Amen. Unfortunately, it seems to me this is a case of "When smart people do stupid things." It's a pity on so many levels, as - rightly or wrongly - Grover has forever compromised all of his views on anything and everything by tying himself to these jihadists.
