On Tuesday, Janeane Garofalo was CLOBBERED in a radio interview with Larry Elder (790 KABC, Los Angeles, 3-6pm PDT).
Janeane tried to pass off the "Republicans are racist" canard, but Elder gave it back to her with the facts.
When Janeane realized that she was facing someone who knew what he was talking about, she tried to walk off the show. She stayed, but it just kept going downhill for Janeane.
After the exchange, Janeane reportedly called Larry a "house Negro" on another show.
Elder later went on "The Majority Report" (her scAir America radio show), and Janeane must have sat out 90-95% of the interview because she couldn't keep up with Sam Seder (her co-host) and Larry.
I wish the Janeane-Larry Elder exchange were online. Larry has re-played the interview three times since the original exchange. It is GREAT radio.

Given their lack of programing, scAir America reruns "The Majority Report" on the weekends in NYC on 1190AM. However, I would be willing to bet that this interview will be cut from their "best of".

It's the ultimate in condescending paternalism. "You think the way we want you to think or you're not worthy of equality." I would love to see black conservatives start to hammer these liberals on this very point -- get J.G. and others who have been known to make these comments on a program and play the soundbite for them, and then say "I consider that a racist remark. Are you saying I'm only allowed to think one way because I'm black? Are you saying that because I'm black I'm only allowed to belong to one party? What kind of equality is that?" Watch them stammer their way through THAT explanation.
Wasn't this the same reasoning the Clintons used for giving our nuclear secrets to the Chicoms?

I would agree with you. Who listens to her anyway? If the libs are putting her up as a mouthpiece I think they are digging pretty deep into the celebrity "has been" pile.
