Yes, I'm very familiar with closed-captioning. In the gym in my building, the TVs have no sound but the cc is always on and people can tune their Walkmen to certain stations to get the audio.
I imagine AJ gets lots of Arab and Muslim people who've moved here...But I doubt that poseurs like Garafalo can actually understand a damn thing that they're saying!
