Hi Lady!

What a hero this man is!!! He took quite a risk with the blinking that he did. Who caught that he was doing that? How did anyone find it?

Reading his website gave me creepy chills. I can't even imagine the torture after they found out.

He is a very humble and valiant man!

My heart broke for him even before I knew who he actually was.
I remember him from the Vietnam war and when he was set free. Then of course, they made the movie about him.

When he started to run for the Senate, here in Alabama, there was no way I couldn't help him.

Sadly he didn't stay in politics very long. He had health issues to deal with. But he stood for right while he was there.

We here in Alabama felt very honored to have him as our Senator!

God Bless Jeremiah Denton.

"Who caught that he was doing that?"

I am old enough to remember this, but it's long enough ago that things are fuzzy. The VC released film of our guys to demoralize us. One of the films was of Denton and I remember seeing it on the nightly news where they described that he was blinking in Morse Code. Presumably, the military studies these films carefully and someone picked up on the Code. It was riveting and chilling. Denton has my eternal admiration. John Kerry betrayed him and all the others. I wouldn't forgive him either.
