Zogby: ZERO Bounce for Kerry

A Zogby poll taken while the four-day Democratic Convention was underway shows that the Kerry Edwards ticket has failed to add even a single percentage point to its support.
The poll of 1,001 likely voters conducted Monday through Thursday found that 48 percent support the Kerry Edwards ticket - the exact same number that backed the Massachusetts Democrat in a July 6-7 survey.
The only good news for the presidential hopeful came in the category of undecideds, which had grown to eight points in the latest survey, up from five points in the earlier sample. The latest Zogby numbers show Kerry Edwards leading Bush Cheney 48 to 43 percent. Support for Bush Cheney in the previous sample was 46 percent.

Not good news at all. I think President Bush will get a good bounce out of the GOP Convention that will put him into a lead he will never relinquish. This isn't what John F*ckin' and the Democrats were expecting. Algore got a terrific bounce out of his convention in 2000; Deadwards fell flat.

The "zero" bounce refers to the fact that Kerry's numbers didn't go up. In otherwords, he gained no votes.

Do you know why we call them swing voters? YUP..
Because they are the least engaged, least interested in, and least informed about politics.

Did anyone else find it a little "weird" tat Kerry took a movie camera with him to VietNam???? Not at all...not when you understand the man and his motives. It was all part of his big plan to build a reputation for himself and return to a life of politics as a war hero.

While he did not lose ground (technically speaking) - the same 48% support, Zogby poll indicates that his convention scared 3% of the electorate (30% of the undecideds) in GWB's favor. Now, if only he could hold yet another convention, or still better, two...

taking a camera is not weird. Knowingly posing pictures because you intent to use them when you run for president is VEeeeeeery weird.
He did not take home movies for the family, he took shots for television commercials.

And this is the same Zogby who put out a Poll that showed Kerry was killing Bush in the South. One day he's a bum who can't do a Poll and the next day he's a genius.

That's because Kerry is a total loser and bereft of any character or intelligence. Even the Rats know he is worthless. They just don't have any one else to run so they grin and bear it. Kerry will go down in history as the incompetent the dems tolerated just to elect anyone but Bush.

"This is stunning news if it holds. Clinton had something like an 18 point bounce in 1992. I think Gore had even a bigger bounce in 2000. A huge bounce. If I'm not mistaken, Bush went from 17 points up to I remember Rush practically having a heart attack over this and many of us here were in shock as those post-DNC polls came out."
I remember that August. I was so depressed. But then President Bush went on the Oprah show in September and began to turn things around. I just heard that this year he will go on Dr. Phil's show. I know Dr. Phil is a fan of W.

The narrator said: In 1966 he volunteered to go to VietNam to serve his country. Please pay attention: John Kerry did NOT volunteer to go to Vietnam; he tried to get his draft board to let him go to France for one year after he graduated from college; when they turned him down, he joined the Navy BEFORE the Army drafted him.

Just heard that the Kerry-Edwards campaign provided fireworks and some kind of fountains at their Harrisburg rally. Next stop, jugglers and clowns? Is Soros paying for this?

How can you have a bounce when nobody watched?
Why is the MEDIA running away from the numbers.
The numbers were horrible where is the reports?
