Well, the Ethics Committee has finally responded to the Ethics complaint against Kerry and the Secretary of the Senate.
Here is their letter:
As you see, the Senate Ethics Committee has refused to enforce a statute passed by both houses of Congress and signed by the President (in August of 1996). If they don't like it, they have to REPEAL it; you can't just decide not to enforce a clear, unambiguous statute!
You can let them hear about it tomorrow at 202-224-2981.

Well, if nothing else, it certainly is a damaging bit for John Kerry. I just hope the GOP keeps mentioning his inattention to his "job." It's a big issue for a lot of people, and it needs to be brought up over and over again.

As you see, the Senate Ethics Committee has refused to enforce a statute passed by both houses of Congress and signed by the President (in August of 1996).Again, the democrat politicians thwart the law for their own political gain.
Will phone for explanation in the morning. It's 8:10 PM here. Thank you.

Keep fighting, John.
I assume we will see your reply in short order?
One would imagine that the "logic" they have used ("well, it hasn't been done in 100 years") is flawed on several different levels. The law is on your side, even if it has been used in a long time.

Amazing, simply amazing! WHY is everyone SO afraid of DemocRATS!? They're afraid that if the law is applied to Kerry now then someday, someone will want to apply the law to them, too.

It's time to go to court...I hope so. Our tax dollars are being used for the politicians play time. We expect them to earn their wages. The Senate is not suppose to be a huge welfare state!
They're suppose to be working for us, not the other way around!!!
