F him and the horse he road in on.
Part de Waters!
No, I mean, Depart, Waters!
Waters is a brilliant musician, but a moron when it comes to policy.
Roger, if you're reading this, finish another album and tour again. That I long to see.
But please don't show the world your ignorance regarding the Middle East !!
P.S. I think Israel should "tear down the wall", but after they have bombed the Palestiaian territory back into the middle ages !!
Pink Floyd ping. Don't remember who else in the Hole is a Floyd fan, so please ping anyone I'm missing.
Seriously, the song "Brain Damage" comes to mind.
I still enjoy listening to the bootleg recording of Waters losing it during the last show on the 1977 Animals tour...where he spit on a fan and acted like a complete jerk. Inspired the album The Wall, I understand. Gilmour was so fed up, he walked off stage and Floyd ended up doing a blue improv. for an encore.
His solo albums stink. Working with Gilmour reigned in his self obsessions.
Maybe this will give him material to write more songs, which will be released on an album, which can be advertised as his response to this situation...which might result in him selling more than the five copies his last albums sold.
So this guy once wrote a song about a wall, and that makes him a credible policy expert on the security wall in Israel?
That oughta be fun.
Poor Roger. Does this megalomaniac still think anyone listens to him?
He may need no thought control, but he sure does need an education!
I agree with you.
His solo albums don't reach the level of his work with Pink Floyd, but I don't like the Pink Floyd albums without Waters as well either.
But Waters still puts on a great show. Saw him in Atlanta on his last tour. Fantastic !!
And the worms ate into his brain.
I'd bet any amount of money that Roger Waters has a security fence around every house he owns.
Other Floyd members used to give him hell for not being able to read music and for so long to memorize basslines. Listen to his playing...great he ain't.
