Nice misquote. John Pilger lifted Powells comments out of context - and you further the offense by removing a key word at the beginning. Powell also went to to say that Saddam remained a major threat in the region.

Thanks for posting this Appy. It needs to stay on the front burner. I just went to the Waxman site and he has a search engine with a drop down menu for all of the people who said anything about Iraq. Only thing is, they are just Republicans from the current administration. Apparently, no Dems have said anything.....

I sent Waxman an email. Guess I'll soon find out if there are limits to what you can say to a member of Congress.
