It is offensive. It's soft porn.

It is offensive. It's soft porn.Correct.
But if it were British Christians complaining, the complaint would have been brushed off.
Only Islam is permitted by the UK government to influence public morals. If Christians say anything, they're just uptight prudes who can be safely ignored.

This makes one want to bash one's head against a wall.
I have little time for the posters themselves, they are crude. That said, this country has blasphemy laws which are flagrantly ignored (as it is politically incorrect to defend Christians); yet we are forced to pander to the opinions of the mohammedians.
In the Middle Ages England was so fervent in its profession of Christianity that it was called 'Mary's Dowry'. I think that Our Lady should get her country back.

How, pray tell, does that poster qualify as "soft porn?"

Thanks for the pic! I intend to post it on every hydro pole around the mosque across the street from my house.

Are you kidding me? The models are topless, and wearing only thongs that reveal their posteriors. Definitely porn...

I find the advertisement tasteless and vulgar. I don't like it either. Unfortunately, I am a Christian. If I complain, I am labeled as a right-wing nut who is trying to impose my values on the rest of society. We have to be sensitive to every group except Christians. Since Christians are supposed to be the majority, they already have too much influence. Anything that reduces their influence should not just be tolerated; it should be encouraged.

Now there's a concept! Before Henry VIII's bloody Revolution, the best-selling books were the Bible and the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Restore Christendom!

I wonder if they are truly offended, or if they have a deep-seated loathing for their religion for
demanding that they be offended, when in actuality they kinda like the billboard. Knowing that they cannot do anything against such an oppressive religion, they turn their anger towards the billboard.
I would probably make a ten minute detour to drive past that billboard, though, so what do I know.

I don't see what the big deal is...they're Euroweenie models, they just didn't want to show their teeth!

They should go back to their wonderful f--ing Islamic republics where they can most assuredly not be offended by such billboards!
To: Pyro7480
Eh? Topless? They are not facing you, so that's irrelevant. As for g-strings - big deal.

How about that! I never knew the female body, not engaged in a sexual act and photographed from the rear - which is covered, as far as I can tell - is considered "soft porn." My mistake, I guess.
Sheesh.

We live in a culture dripping with sexuality. I'm not advocating burkhas, but I am asking for a little moderation (and modesty!). We have become so overwhelmed by it that we become apathetic about it. Many of us are sex addicts, whether we realize it or not. I understand some people's reactions to comments like mine, in reaction to the Islamonazis' viewpoint on women, but, as AA calls places that serve alcohol as "toxic," the same can be said about the environment we live in, especially in the summertime.

We live in a culture dripping with sexuality. Not really. It just seems to be that way because we make a big deal about it. You need to go to Europe.

What if they got so wound up about those rear views that they all had strokes and croaked?
Would that be just awful or what???
