As far as the American public is concerned, the Democratic Convention appears to be one big bore.

However, CNN and the alphabet networks are very excited at this gathering of "new hope" (translated, getting rid of Dubyah, and annointing one of their own as President, even if he is a big bore).

They should dump her for McCain.

A caller to the Michael Savage Show last night nailed Terayza perfectly: "She's not opinionated, she's opiated!"

This might very well be accurate, but online polls in general are worthless.

Teresa is a Dem star for one reason: she contributes megabucks from her inherited fortune to far left orgs. Were it not for the money, no one would spend a minute listening to her babble. The broad is so stupid that she's been known to get up in the morning and put her butt on backwards.

Hugely boring. At least Terrayzah was comic relief. Look, no matter what anyone thinks about her, she paid for her place in the speakers lineup....fair and square.

The article is off-base on one point. I too, made fun of "the mystic chords of our national memory", until a good friend who's also an Abe Lincoln buff pointed out that the phrase is taken from Lincoln's first inaugural address.

Mind you, it annoys me when 'rats quote Lincoln. He's ours, dammit!

There's something that will turn many Americans away from THK, and thus John F'in Kerry - her accent. I think that her obviously-not-from-the-US accent is going to turn a lot of voters off. Heck, I had somebody ask me the other day if it was legal for a non US citizen to be First Lady lol...

I wrote my preview Monday Morning.

DNC CONvention

The scum and slime’s descending,
On Old Boston town.
Smells like bloated rotting fish,
With them all around.
Bill and Hill and Al Gore too,
Jimmy Carter’s there.
Sandy Berger should show up,
Watch you files with care.
Ted Kennedy is belching,
Or is that his speech.
Hillary announces Bill,
With her famous screech.
Howard Dean will scream out loud,
Really draws a crowd.
Al Gore will bring his lock box,
He’ll be shouting loud.
John Kerry and John Edwards,
Are the central theme.
Biggest libs to ever run,
This is one bad dream.
John will bring his Purple Hearts,
Bought so long ago.
Edwards will just stand and smile,
Nothing else to show.
Me, I’ll keep the TV off,
I don’t need their spew.
They aren’t selling what I’d buy,
Hope that’s true for you.

Ya'll didn't actually think a woman fluent in five languages...none apparently English, would be a big hit with average Americans, did ya?

Seeing as everybody on the planet with a Europia type accent has been telling us we are the scum of the earth, and the cause of all the worlds problems....this comes as absolutely no surprise to me.

As predicted, America is violently recoiling from Tay Raise Ahhhhhh.

It was a very easy prediction, btw.

There are sometimes advantages to a large portion of the American electorate being easily swayed by things. The ramblings and wild-eyed stares of the Queen of Mozambique could keep a lot of people from voting for her poodle. Sometimes this works against us, though, as in '92 when millions fell for a carnival huckster from Arkansas.

Maybe it would have gone over better if she had broken out into a chorus of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina!"

Terayza makes Hillary seem tame by comparison, and that's saying something.
