Having lunch with two ex co-workers (I loved working with them), but they are extreme liberals. I need to make sure I have my prep work down. Since I'm going to be wearing my "BUSH...SAVING YOUR ASS LIKE IT OR NOT T-shirt, I have to be prepared for the typical liberal onslaught of falsehoods.

Has anyone ever seen a document like this here on FR. I might as well just print it out and give it to them because I know from past experience these two are going to be spewing it all.

Bring a copy of the bipartisan 9/11 commission report book. Every rebuttal you need will be found there. They no doubt supported Clinton, and the book also covers his term and bombing (continuously) of Iraq to stop Saddam's WMD's.

I REFUSE to be QUIET with anyone ANYMORE about politics

I choose to do this with my in-laws at my husband's request to keep peace in the family. My children love their grandparents and they are good people, just stupid IMO.

Thank GOD they live 750 miles away so I don't have to go through this often. They are learning to shut up because I'm training them.

As far as friends who are liberal, I don't have any, couldn't take it.

Exactly! Keeping quiet is what has allowed the Socialist Left to gain all the power that they have today!

Everyone here should read Confrontational Politics by Sen. HL Richardson, Ret. It vividly shows how the left has gained so much ground in this country and what we can do to stop it's further spread.

This would require some research but if you have
the time to do it, it can all be done here.

There is what I believe a valid counter to the no WMD
argument everyone uses. And of course Bush would not lie, he is not anything at all like Bubba or Kerry in nature.

As far as the chem weapons, they were transported to Syria the U.S. has the sat. photos and in actuality enough residue has been found in Iraq to kill off thousands of people already. Remember Saddam had years to hide everything.

The story, and once again it is documented here in older threads but nothing older than 30 days, goes that in the early 90's Iraq through Saddam conspired with North Korea and Libya to build three nucs by the year 2005.

Kadaffy supplied the location, a hollowed out mountainside that was to be bunker bomb proof, Sadaam supplied 12 nuclear scientists and North Korea supplied 23.5 lbs. of enriched uranium.

The plot was foiled, and as you may recall Qaddafi all of sudden gave up and got real friendly earlier this year. some of the enriched uranium was intercepted.

Document all this, it can be done here, and you have the rats by their tails.

I know you can hold your own. They don't stand a chance.

It is easy to turn things around and question THEIR points because they never have any true facts to back them up. Then attack the phony "facts" they try to use to back up their positions.

It is also good to laugh at and make fun of their statements. The "You've got to be kidding me, you don't really believe that" approach.

The best quotes illustrating Kerry is full of shiat and trying to have it both ways:

SEN. JOHN KERRY: "[I]t is something that we know-for instance, Saddam Hussein has used weapons of mass destruction against his own people, and there is some evidence of their efforts to try to secure these kinds of weapons and even test them." (CBS’ "Face The Nation," 9/23/01)

He may even miscalculate and slide these weapons off to terrorist groups to invite them to be a surrogate to use them against the United States. It’s the miscalculation that poses the greatest threat." (CBS’ "Face The Nation," 9/15/02)

First, I'd ask them how many days he has NOT represented his state in the Senate during the past year.

(This can be tough when he missed 64% of the votes during the first session of this congress.)Missed votes

He and the Breck girl have missed most votes in the US Senate since they started their presidential bids. Then, ask them if they expect either of those two candidates if they will change if elected. Also, let them go to this web site and check kerry's voting record.

JFK Has Voted Against Tax Reductions and for Higher Taxes a total of 379 times!

Kerry's voting record

Be wary when they make some of their statements as fact. For some reason liberals literally make facts up on the spot. This is a well known behaviour of the leaders, but it seems to occur with the rank-and-file as well. It seems to be a mental disorder.
