Facts Undermine Moore's Movie [Freeper Letter to the Editor]
Richmond Times Dispatch (Letters to the Editor) ^ | 7/29/04 | Talleyman

Editor, Times-Dispatch:

[Snip]

Michael Moore's selective use of half-truths and outright lies is a crockumentary. ("A half-truth is a whole lie," according to a Yiddish proverb.) In Fraudandhype 9/11, the truth was edited out.

What is true is that Michael Moore blamed America for being attacked, lamented the fact that more Republicans weren't killed in the attack, has called Americans "stupid," stated that the more American troops killed, the better, and has likened the Iraqi terrorists to the Minutemen.

Well said, my FRiend! The letter is short, factual, well-written and a model for conservative letter writers.

"I was intrigued by the letters from R.. C.... and B.... P...., which were published together. Both contained the same phrase, verbatim: "The facts that serve as the basis for Moore's critique have yet to be disputed." Psychic connection?"

LOL! Good catch!

Wow.....where did you get this?

From "Fifty-nine Deceits in Fahrenheit 9/11" - Dave Kopel

Excerpt:

Moore's first public comment about the September 11 attacks was to complain that too many Democrats rather than Republicans had been killed: "If someone did this to get back at Bush, then they did so by killing thousands of people who did not vote for him! Boston, New York, DC, and the planes' destination of California--these were places that voted against Bush!" (The quote was originally posted as a "Mike's Message" on Moore's website on September 12, but was removed not long after. Among the many places where Moore's quote has been repeated is The New Statesman, a leftist British political magazine.)

Thanks! FYI, they edited out the next line I wrote:
