I'll have this thing hot-wired in a jiffy: Police Sgt. Todd Anderson has his hands full supervising four children found in Columbus, Ohio, after a statewide Amber Alert was issued. The kids were found with a convicted sex offender who is the step-grandfather of three of them.

I am sorry Senator Kerry, but I have thoroughly inspected this vehicle, and I see absolutely no indication that you have a coherent policy anywhere on board!
This one made me LOL!!

Later the Sarge swore to the neighbors that looking at that chalk figure was like looking in a mirror. Perhaps some certain Democrats should try looking in a mirror some day and then they might see what we see.
The caption made my laugh, but the picture needed a hankie alert.

Hello everyone. this is a wonderful thing you did today and I'm really glad to see all that information up there in the opening since I send stuff to a couple of army guys that come from my home town. I've gotten a little carried away and ended up with too much stuff to fit in the boxes because I am such an impulsive spender that sometimes it drives my budget through the roof. I try to discipline myself but when it comes to shopping I'm not good at that at all. I keep a box for donations at my business but it never seems to get much stuff put in.
Thank you troops for doing what must be done.
Have fun everyone.

emptiness
an abyss of silence
a chasm of calamity
a cacophony of quiet
a symphony of black
were it not for your color,
were if not for your wit,
were it not for your timely rhythm
there would be no rhaposdy
and the night would end without a song
I shall bring you
music in the silence,
to dance away the dark,
And I shall bring you colors,
to fill the barrens stark,
I shall bring you rhythm,
and melodies, and harmony
and form a safe and comfort place,
for your heart, an armory.

Playin' catchup since I've been away most of the day. Some surrounding areas got more than 10" of rain here I heard. We didn't get that much but got a pretty good shower early this morning and it lasted a while. Tapered off and rained a good while after that. I'd guess 3-4-5" here ???

revel in your color
bloom in your garden
drink in your dawn
wear your cloak of honor
hold dear to my heart
the treasure of your gift of love
wear the tiara of stars
the garments spun from gold
and behold the gem of your heart
the treasure of your soul
the moon of our heavens
and walk the pathway to the stars with you
