Believe me, I'm extremely gunshy.

The only option for me in my career field for Cali is just outside of SF, not too sure about that one, although, it is close enough to Napa for this wine/beer snob.

I know of several single women at my kids school in California. Two of them are teachers and the other is a speech therapist.

They are not too liberal (maybe some save the environment type stuff). Two of them love hockey and other sports. One of them is a Christian and went to Baylor University.

When I see single women like them, I don't know why they aren't married. They are nice and great with kids. I know they would readily give up their jobs to have a family.

Unfortunately, many men don't want a woman who wants to raise a family.

"Many feel why by the milk if you can get the cow for free."

I suppose the cow could say "Why give the milk if they can get it some place else"...For those who don't know better...it's not just the milk...it's a thing called Love...for those that have run up on it I'm sure they know what I'm talking about...for those that don't know what love is...keep looking...it will come and when it does..it will last as long as you want it too...just remember...it's a two way street...Give a little and meet half way!

So there’s no need to despair just yet about the state of marriage. There are still quite a few men out there who are “the marrying kind”—men inspired by their Christian worldview.

I know that for a fact, because I just found one. I know there's more. What a good news article.... spoiled by the same woman-hating misfits that show up on all these threads.

I tell ya, perhaps it ain't easy to be a guy, I know it ain't easy being a gal, but there are just so many men on these threads who reek with ugliness. They want to import women from overseas, women whose choice is between them and squalor. Good for them. Those ladies will stay with them for awhile... till they can stand on their own here. Till they see that they don't ~have~ to be be an ever-eager lap dog.

Guys, women are just people, Doing the best we can, seeking companionship and sometimes failing to be perfect, just like you. Lose the chip on your shoulder... Women today just aren't all that willing to spend our energy bearing the brunt of your collective bitterness toward the world of women.

I submit that men have always respected marriage and hold it in high regard. The feminist trained women do not share the same sentiment of marriage, more as disposable. What WOMEN think is worthy of respect from men is not what men will respect in a woman. IOW a b*tch is b*tch and not marriage material. (use for recreational sex but not marriage)

If your callsign means you're currently in the Air Force, statr at the chapel general Protestant service. Mine was full of cuties, and all very nice Christian girls.

Well I am Catholic, so there are some Catholic Vietnamese women and lots of Filipino women.
The problems for us in California are that these women are first generation women who have family back home and if they marry you, you will have every cent of yours they can get a hold of going home or used to bring the whole family to your home.
I've heard stories, especially with Filipinos who get on the guys account and spend all his saving like water. No concept of finance and a great love of fried food. LOL

It's tough but worth the effort.
Nobody like to waste their time with wrong people.

I think there is a lot of truth to that statement. I think even my own dear husband was like that when we first got married. Thank God, he wisened up after our first was born. I worked for a few months, and we both agreed it wasn't worth it.

When did women wanting to become stay at home moms become such a bad thing?

The women there would be liberal, you would not like it.

San Diego has an airforce base, doesn't it, not only a Navy port?

SF is it?

They should do away with state sponsored marriage.

There is no longer a reason for legal marriage in American culture.

I guess my callsign is pretty obvious.....

I'll have to go back again, I suppose, but the last time there were a whole lot of retirees and such there. I know I won't make it through that blasted "inspirational" service, as they call it.

What men want? A woman who's a whore in the kitchen and a gourmet in the bedroom. Or something like that.

LOL!
