Your right about NC.

I attended some seminars there during Clinton's election bid in 92.

It looked about 50/50 then, from the folks I talked to. They did not believe the stories I told them about Arkansas.LOL

NC is a nice place, and the dems there are similar to those here in Arkansas.

They should not be too impressed with Kerry, and we do not elect the Vice President.

Kerry is a East Coast rich liberal and they may make that decision in the polling booth.

Kerry will win or lose depending on if democrat voters vote against Bush or for Kerry.

I have faith, that regardless of the polls, many dems who say they are currently for Kerry will not vote for him in the end. They may even stay home.

I just wish he had held the scream until, say, tomorrow night...That would have been worth waiting for. I don't like this fraud of the liberals on valium, tranquilized. It's dishonest. Screaming and howling liberals, with much wailing and gnashing of teeth (like Al Sharpton or Dean) is the real thing.

We've been cheated out of a convention with Dean and Gore screaming and hollering along with Sharpton and Hellary.

I guess you missed E.D. Hill stop Leahy when he said Bush had lied. She cut him short and said, "Now you're lieing".

You NEVER post about the things you just mentioned.

OTOH, maybe you should watch what the Dems have to say at their convention, maybe then you'd stop posting the things you do post top FR.

Chris Matthews said Sharpton's career began with a lie? I am amazed that he would say that. He and Al were buds during the primary.

I would like to know what Edwards talked about tonight. He said his father worked in a mill, his mother took a job at the post office so they could have health care and he worked his way through college. Is there something wrong with that, isn't that how this country was built? What exactly does he want the government to add to this equation?

John Edwards proposals will not lift the poor, they will simply lessen the value of personal responsibility.

Well,Edwards' speech sounded like we were living in the early '60s,so I guess they're all in a time warp.

I was watching tonite wondering if they could come up with anything original. But no.

They're desperate for issues, had 18 months to come up with them, and then when they did, they ended up using those belonging to the current Administration. I don't think any of this is going to wash with the heartland. Everybody knows what President Bush is all about, and they know that he is a man of his word. Who will they trust more? Someone who does what he says he's going to do, or someone who says one thing and does another?

The best part about all of this is that by the time the Republicans have their convention next month, the goings on at this one will be totally forgotten. People won't be able to recall what Edwards and Kerry said in Boston. The image that will remain in the mind of the constituency is the last thing they saw & heard, and that will be President Bush giving his acceptance speech, and he and Cheney kicking a$$ at the debates. I'm looking forward to that. Big time!!

"You won't hear fellow Dems picking apart the Edwards and Kerry speeches, but you'd better believe that the day after Cheney and Bush speaks there will be plenty of criticism and disappointment coming from the Republican side. They'll say how "he should have mentioned this, he wasn't strong enough on this, he didn't look tough enough on this, he could have been clearer on this", etc. etc.

The Dems don't bail on each other"

AMEn AMEN AMEN.

You see it here as well too.
