Did they already do the actual nominations? That was always my favorite part of the conventions.

They are stealing everything. Speeches & the whole Dem convention is a carbon copy of the Repub 2000. It's a mockery!!
They call this music? They need to tone it down so I can hear Brit Hume better.

Dan Rather and the crew at CBS are gushing all over Edwards. Rather has a woody for Edwards and says Dick Cheney is a "hitman" and the Republicans are "dividers".

Classy entertainment, eh?
To: Mo1
Richard B. Cheney acceptance speech, 2000: "HELP IS ON THE WAY!" Not only are they ripping of Bush/Cheney positions on the issues, they are quoting them.
And these IDIOT Bush haters in the audience are cheering. What a total circus!

Nothing sums up a convention like a good old fashioned rap tune.

for some reason - your comment on Ms. Edwards brought this to my mind:
Lecter: So tell me about Miss West Virginia. Was she a large girl?
Clarice: Yes.
Lecter: Big through the hips? Roomy?
To: ScottFromSpokane
If this election were to turn on domestic policy, K and E could win. Kerry has made it long clear he's not going to follow that sage advice. He fashions himself as an international genius, will run about gaining respect from "Allies".
But then Bush won't fight back and force him to say the "France" word so Kerry might pull it off.
To: NYC GOP Chick
Did you notice that this broad has a major turkey neck, but a preternaturally smooth face (except for the milk dud)?! I don't know why so many think she's hot. I never thought so either on TV or in person. I don't think she's ugly, but she's no better than average.....and that's by politics standards.
