Gay TV Network Unveils Schedule

(Los Angeles, California)  As MTV readies to launch LOGO, it’s new network targeted primarily at lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender viewers, NBC Universal-owned Trio has announced that it plans to add a weekly gay programming block to its schedule.

The OUTzone will launch on Saturday, September 18.

Accompanying a Dame Edna marathon will be season two of Kath & Kim, along with various films, documentaries and music specials.

"Trio has always been drawn to the cutting edge of culture and the kitschy-cool sensibility that is so associated with the gay community," said Trio president Lauren Zalaznick.

"OUTzone creates a regular viewing experience where our viewers can go to find both overtly gay programming and programming that has captured the imagination of gay audiences," Zalaznick said.

Meanwhile, over at LOGO, the MTV vehicle has announced that it is working with Cher, Alan Cumming and Margaret Cho on new shows.

Brian Graden, MTV/VH1 Entertainment president who's also working on LOGO, said the outpouring of support has been thrilling.

Cher and her daughter, Chastity Bono, are working on "Family Outing," a series telling the stories of celebrities who came out as gay and lesbians.

Cumming has signed on for a musical cabaret series and Cho is expected to star in her own series, for which few details were available.

Kathy Griffin will be cruise director for "Fantastic Voyage," a real-life "Love Boat" played out on an ocean liner in the Caribbean.

The two wedding-themed series play off a news making topic. "My Fabulous Gay Wedding," with actor Scott Thompson as host, follows about-to-be-married gay couples as they plan their wedding.

"Do I?" brings gay and lesbian couples contemplating marriage before a relationship expert.

"The Big Gay 100," is a countdown show of the greatest people, places and things in gay culture.

In addition the network says it has acquired more than 150 documentaries and movies popular with gay audiences, including Mommie Dearest, Philadelphia and Breaking the Surface: The Greg Louganis Story.

The viewers won't be satisfied with this type of programming. They require hardcore porn.

I wonder if Isaac Asimov will have the same reaction to this rape of his intellectual property rights as Ray Bradbury did when Michael Moore filched his book title?

Frankly I have my doubts. Superficial appearances to the contrary, things have come a long way since the oft-mythologized "stonewall" era and though they unfortunately continue to allow themselves to be dominated and defined by a handful of bullying radicals, quite a few gays no longer think of themselves as a persecuted tribe, no longer feel the need to define themselves against the prevailing culture and are beginning to chafe at being relegated to a kitschy-koo stereotyped ghetto.

Another few years, (months if Kerry should happen to stumble into the Oval Office), and we'll all be bidding for plump boys on eBay.

None dare call it conspiracy.

That's exactly why this won't work - they demand mainstreaming. Their "own network" is relegation to the basement. The only way it will attract viewers is if it's homosexual porn....their own version of Playboy channel. And, such a channel would also serve their need to reproduce, using the only tool available - recruitment/seduction of new converts.

Gives "rum, sodomy, and the lash" a whole new meaning, doesn't it? Or, maybe just the same old perversions recanted into new bottles.

- Homosexual Agenda PING -

The onslaught to legitimize this sick, dangerous, and unhealthy lifestyle continues.

Wonder if they'll have a show called "92%", you know, to reflect that 92% of all new AIDS cases come from the sodomite community?

Or, if they'll have a documentary called "One of 300" - showcasing the 300% increase in cases of Spyhillis among sodomite men within the last few years.

Of course, I'm being facetious. There's no way that'll happen - they dare not speak the hard, ugly truth. Their programming will be all about fun, rainbows, frizbees, and gooey gooey feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings. No facts allowed, dontchaknow?

As we slide one step closer to the Abyss.

(I wonder how much longer God will allow the mockery of His creation to continue?)

Let's be honest here. Why on earth would they need a network of their own when they already rule television. Cast thine eyes about. Will and Grace is just the tip of a huge in-yo'-face iceberg. They get their revenge on us "breeders" in every other sitcom and every other ad. This has been bandied about before; why would hetero, white males even bother to watch the networks when they are regularly depicted as fat, stupid buffoons?

A show like The "L" Word might do well on a non-premium cable channel. I'm just saying.

Sorry, but it IS sick, unhealthy, and dangerous.

Feel free to check out EdReform's Categorical index of links on the subject...very informative. Loaded with CDC data, reports, and various other facts regarding the sodomite lifestyle.

There's no personal attack, as no one is personally being attacked. The "lifestyle" and its agenda is being brought into question, and exposed for what it truly is. That's not an attack, it's called exposure.

Secondly, you can think it's called "hatred" all you want. But, the truth of the matter is, I don't hate anyone. I pity the sodomites, and I pray that they'll see the damage they're doing and one day turn from their destructive behavior.

Sorry, renegade04, but traditional culture, traditional values, and moral decency are what's under attack. We're defending what's ours, and exposing the opposition for what it really is.

Racist?

Member for a day and you get the "dumbest post" award.

Homosexuality is not in-born like skin color.

The only racism here is your abominable post equating skin color with perversion.

I amend the "dumbest post" award I gave you earlier.

Yours is the most "hate-filled, despicable post."
