Claiming that Teresa "wowed" the convention is nothing short of journalistic malpractice. Like her or love her, or her speech, no one who watched the hall can claim the crowd was excited by it. As one observer mentioned, the predominant emotion seemed to be confusion.
If you have a chance to watch the interview with the Edwards wife and daughter, I'd encourage you to do so for some comic relief. The confused expression on daughter Cate's face is truly priceless.

That TeRAYsa appeared sedated was not a surprise; that her speech was--for the most part--"me me me" was also not a surprise; what DID surpise me was the EXTREMELY quiet, almost non-reaction of the delegates. The only ones who were excited were the weird women contingent (of which she is the queen).
