The campaign of Sen. John Kerry yesterday accused NASA of leaking a widely circulated photo that shows the candidate wrapped from top to bottom in a baby blue "bunny suit," implying that it was a "dirty trick."
One campaign official told The Washington Times last night: "All I can say is it was not an authorized release."
But the National Aeronautics and Space Administration told Fox News that the Kerry team saw the photos before publication and passed on their release.
A NASA spokesman told the top-rated cable network that the images were given to the Kerry campaign to review before several were posted on the Kennedy Space Center Web site.
In no way were photographs "leaked," the spokesman said.
But campaign manager Mary Beth Cahill said in an interview with Fox, "This was a leaked photo."
She said the campaign never was told that the photographs, which are drawing ridicule and comparison with the Michael Dukakis "tank" photo on the Internet and talk radio, would be taken during a campaign stop at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

You're right. If Kerry had just laughed along with the rest of us, maybe cracked a few jokes, the whole thing would have blown over by now. Just because the guy looks like a dork in every picture, that doesn't make him a bad person. Being a lying, ultra liberal, hypocritical, anti-American, terrorist-appeasing gigolo makes him a bad person.
Then Terayza's speech tonight. She seemed to need some serious pharmacological tune-ups. "How to sound like you've just been lobotomized, in five languages".
Kerry opted for the Democrat way. He lied about it, (through his campaign manager) tried to pin the blame on someone else for his stupidity, and tried to make himself a victim of some evil plot.
So they were just all sitting around, pretending to pose, having a special moment.
"Hey! Does that guy have a camera or is he just happy to see us?"
"Naaaa, he's just happy."
Yea right whatever.

But, the mainstream media will continue to portray events so the general public doesn't get it!
I am already seeing that because of the way the mainstream media portrayed Teraaaaaysa's "shove it" explosion the other day, that many citizens are calling her a great woman with courage who speaks her mind. They succeeded in making the reporter, McNickle the villain.
The media rules, and November could be horrible because of it.
Have to be thick skinned in this business. What wimps.
