Interesting that the dems embrace only those blacks who are more white than black. But make sure they remain in the back of the bus nevertheless.

Harold Ford was passed over for minority speaker in favor of Pelosi.

What the heck does "Truth to Power" mean?

Wasn't the title of Anita Hill's book "Speaking Truth to Power"? (The one who testified against Clarence Thomas.)

I'd give more than two cents to know what Hillary is thinking right now!
****

She's thinking you go girl...give this election to Bush, but don't make it look real easy, because then I am set up to run in 2008..."Bill sweetie, pay those people more money cause they are doin a great job of screwing this election up...we do own both of them don't we?"

1ST TIME I HEARD ABOUT THAT!!!

I suspected as much, and was always surprised that I never heard an answer. Normally that kind of thing is a focus of the leftstream media.

Did you see the look on Hitlery's face early in his speech when she saw the over the top reaction of the crowd? It looked like you could see the shadow envelope her. By the end she was beaming again, someone must have reminded her that charismatic young politicians tend to have 'accidents'.

Missed that. I couldn't watch too much, being able to see through it all, it was insulting.

"hang in there"

Thanks, my FRiend, but I'm already over it...it'll take the basement a coupla weeks to dry out right, but I've already got all my important stuff up off the floor, so it's more of an annoyance than anything.

"Is he still yelling at James Hoffa?"

I wrote Hannity about this. I told him he sounded like a broken record. I had to turn it off. I told Sean he should have asked Hoffa how much his salary is and how much in taxes he paid last year. That would have shut him up. I'm sure his earnings are in the 6 figure range, far more than the rank and file he's supposed to represent. And isn't it the Dems who consider anyone who makes over $50,000 a year as being "rich?

Before retiring, I worked in a unionized job. At one time, the union was affiliated with an international agency (AFSME). Each rank and file member of this union had the opportunity (during a specific period of the year), to request reimbursement for their share of union money that had been donated (by the union) to a party or candidate that they themselves did not support. Of course, this wasn't common knowledge among the rank and file members, and the union leaders did not advertise that this opportunity existed. I'm not sure how it is with the Teamsters, or any of the other large unions, but I'd find it hard to believe that members who disagreed with the union's choice of political donations, didn't have the right to request their share back. I'm surprised that Hoffa didn't mention this. He has to know it. But then, perhaps he thought that if he publicly acknowledged existence of such a law/rule, that the Teamsters would be overwhelmed by an influx of members requesting their money back.

I'm glad I wasn't alone. And I'm glad you wrote him. I don't know what purpose Hannity thinks shouting matches like the serve. Usually, he comes out looking the worse. What a waste of radio time.

I've been really surprised that she has kept it on and stuck with it. Her best friend is out of town on vacation so I think if she were around she'd less inclined for gavel to gave coverage, but still--she's playing and such, but keeping the demcon tuned in the whole time. Even after I changed channels in the office last night she kept it on in the living room--which is how I heard about dem delegates accidently calling rising start Obama "Osama".

LOL
