How about Sarah Brady and her touchy-feely namby-pamby idiotic Leftist friends spend more time trying to regulate mentally-deranged people than firearms?
After all, they keep moaning that guns are going to fall into the hands of the mentally-deranged. So why don't they just leave the guns alone and go after the REAL problem?
Oh yeah...that'd take effort...and brains...both of which the Left sorely lacks.

Yeah, I think those are banned. (The tracks play hell with asphalt.)

Funny thing is, owning an assault gun is completely legal. Ammo is probably classified as a "Destructive Device", and taxed at $200/round though. Unless you load your own solid shot. A few years ago I read about a guy who had restored a de-milled French 75 to working order. He cast solid zinc projectiles, and used a log-splitter for a reloading press.
Think that'll 'make major'?

And if it does run out and Kerry and his Komrades get into office, the first thing they will do be to try to legislate a stronger AW ban.

Thanks for the links. Is the 1863 3-Inch Ordnance Rifle a breech loader?

It was the AWB that caused the 'Rats to lose control of Congress in the first place. The AWB is dead as a mannequin in a dept store.

Load up the 3" with solid shot and engage a squad of old refrigerators ... Biggest I've fired is a Barrett .50. That'll wake you up. With the muzzle brake, recoil is sort of an irresistable shove. Bowling pins disintegrate when hit!

Negative. Muzzle loader. Some Ordnance Rifles were converted to breech loaders around the time of the Spanish-American War and used as salute guns.
Armstrong breech loader
Whitworth breech loader
Small numbers of these were used during the War of Northern Aggression.

b) I couldn't care less if crime declined with the AWB and rose after it expired. The concept of "rights" for the vast majority of (law-abiding) citizens is utterly independent of the criminal actions of a few morally and/or mentally deficient people. The most vital right is the right to defend one's self, family, freedom and country. Any law that infringes upon such a right is completely illegitimate. Three cheers! Well said!

Especially if the "people" are gun grabbing tyrants. Let's not forget that the catalyst for the American Revolution was an exercise in gun control at Concord.
