Seeing how easy it is for these terrorists murdering thugs to kidnap innocent civilians, why hasn't their been some kind of undercover trap to capture them? How difficult would it be for the Iraqi authorities to set up a group of Iraqi police officers and send them out in trucks pretending to deliver food to the American and coalition forces. Once the trap is set and the thugs believe that they have themselves some hostages, open fire on the SOB's and mow them down right there in the middle of the road.

If they do this a few times, I bet the amount of attacks on innocent civilians would drop dramatically.

I wonder if this hasn't been done already. It's not like the media would ever report a military success like that.

Imagine an operation like this run by the Keystone Cops for an idea of "how difficult it would be." No one over there is smarter than a bag of rocks.
