The famously off-the-cuff Heinz Kerry is scheduled to address the delegates tonight. At the Kennedy Center, her husband violated the cardinal rule of politics getting his picture taken in a ridiculous outfit.
Visiting the space shuttle Discovery, Kerry donned dust-free overalls that made him resemble the sperm cells in Woody Allen's "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid To Ask)."
Republican operatives issued a press release featuring the photo and its predecessor the famous shot of 1988 Democratic nominee Mike Dukakis wearing an ill-fitting tank helmet.
"It's the picture worth a thousand words," said a GOP strategist as he chortled over the photo of Kerry.
But Democrats were not concerned.
"The brilliant Republicans who put George Bush in a flight suit to strut around an aircraft carrier won't get very far giving advice to NASA about the kinds of coveralls to wear," said Kerry campaign spokesman David Wade.

The difference is, W looked great in the flight suit, and Kerry looks like even more of a dork than he usually does in that getup. Not to the point. The real difference is that W IS a pilot who flew supersonic F-102 fighter jets solo, while the closest Kerry came to being a pilot is riding in the back of TAY-RAY-ZAH's "flying squirrel."
And the Kerry picture HAS to remind old-timers of Dukakis' infamous "tank commander" picture.

Nothing unless it's being used for a photo op by a presidential candidate,
That suddenly reminded me of old Jimmah Cahtah, back in the day, who used to present himself as all things to all people like F'n. I'm reminded of Dan Ackroyd parodying this in a sketch called "The Pepsi Syndrome", in a similar costume, saying "Ah'm a nukular engineer. And as a nukulah engineeah, Ah'm pretty scared." Then there's something about a 10 story bunny wabbit, I can't remember the details.

Catpuppy, apparently you weren't the only one that saw the similarity between the sperm and the dork presidential candidate. The entire country is laughing at his silly @$$ today. Even Leno last night called this Kerry's Dukakis moment.

Doofus Kerry dons a new wardrobe so that he may mingle with the commoners, but not get contaminated by them.

My very first reaction to the kerry picture was--"Quick! Get the Woody Allen sperm picture up immediately!"
Thanks for being on the ball.

Rats forget that Jimmah STILL pronounces it NUKE-ULAR (and it was a field of his). The Bush Bashers like to seize on it but forget that there is another former president who still pronounces that word this way.

But when you go to NASA to talk about stem cell research instead of space program issues... well, you can look a fool, then you can open your mouth.

Yeah, I can see that Bush looks just as ridiculous as Kerry...(sarcasm)
One projects strength and courage the other, well, I don't know what the hell that projects...
