Thanks for your reply. Society requires compromises. Those of us on the left think we have a responsibility to share with our neighbors in need and those on the right think those in need should pick up and work it out. Somewhere in between we manage to get along. We have laws to make life a touch easier. Some behaviors don't make life easier. Society needs rules to postpone chaos. Some of the rules we make are unfair and some are over used and abused. The exceptions are always newsworthy, but I just can't think of any right now.
What you read here, doesn't make it out on the campaign trail, unless I meet a kindred spirit along the way.
Sorry, I don't understand and I realize I'm too tired to think straight.

I agree: We need SOME laws and rules, not huge steaming piles of them.
And to clarify... I mean, when I post stuff here, it's not what I say to the average Joes I talk to on the campaign trail. I vent here, and in person with those who refuse to believe that empty-suited, Tasseled Loafer Thugs can run my life better than they can.

So you're voting for Kerry, or Nader? You said 'those of us on the left', so I was wondering which stripe of communism suits you.
I would like to dissect your post line by line and would rather do so with your participation.
If I misread your direct statement, please accept my apologies.
