OH! I have MOO's last interview on O'Reilly on videotape! It'll be good to have them side-by-side to see what it looks like!

I hope O'Reilly's vein-in-the-forehead makes it's appearance...

From what I read, MM wouldn't return his CNN floor pass credentials, and was wandering the floor, stepping into unexpected interviews, and at one point allegedly dropped an "f-bomb c-bomb" while describing a woman from CNN trying to get the credentials back!

Yup, he is the face of the Democrats fo Today.

Exactly. Moore will make him look foolish and then he'll claim he ate Moore's lunch. Oreiley = Blowhard

I bet he stands O'Reilly up. One thing I will say about O'Reilly is he isn't afraid to be critical of an a-hole like Moore...hope he tears Fat-Boy him a new one, if he shows.

Biggest question O'reilly should ask is "Last time you were on you said you wanted to pay 70% tax. Why don't you go ahead and do it?" And if Moore says that that isn't the way it is done. Then point out that's exactly what Moore expects the corporations to do. If he claims he is too moral to give to a Republican president, point out how elitist that is and follow up with a "So you're putting it all in a trust fund for when a "good" liberal is in office?"

I beleive O'Reilly said last night that the interview was already done (it will be on tape).

I cannot understand the animosity here towards O'Reilly. The guy may not be 100% with conservatives, but he sure speaks with alot of common sense on most issues. And he has done more on exposing the left bias in the media than anyone. Bozell doesn't have a show every night on tv that attracts millions of viewers. Bill has made the media bias a talking point on many occasions.

Considering how the weak Al Franken exposed O'Reilly as a two bit liar when they went head to head I wouldn't bet on O'Reilly in a confrontation with Moore.

O'Reilly is a blowhard who when confronted with truth implodes.

Cannoneer No. 4, I sent the same article to Oliver North at Fox News [War Stories] and received this reply this morning [7/27/2004]:

Dear Colonel North,
I thought that I would send you this sad story just in case you might be interested in it. [attached was the article on the effect of Michael Moore's movie on the troop morale]

I remember all the media hype of the expected anti-Semitism and anti-Jewish violence that would be caused by Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ. Well, as it turns out, that movie only had a positive effect on the viewers.

Michael Moore's movie has had the opposite effect and it seems that it's effects are going un-reported. This man's movie has made over 100 million dollars to get people to hate America and all the good, all the sacrifice that our brave men and women over in Afghanistan and Iraq have done to liberate those countries. Now, our service men and women are ashamed instead of Michael Moore. If not for our soldiers keeping us free and safe, the Michael Moore's would not be free to do what he is free too do and live. I'm sure Saddam, the Taliban, the Saudi government or the Iranian regime would never have allowed Michael Moore to make anti-Arab / anti-Islam or anti-government movies.

Oliver North's staff wrote me back:

Thank you for your idea for a future episode of "War Stories with Oliver North." We are currently spending the summer looking over all subjects to produce for our upcoming season. We have added your suggestion into our research, and certainly appreciate your taking the time to send us the e-mail. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Sincerely,

"War Stories with Oliver North" staff

Whenever Bill says he's going to grill anyone, he never does.

Agree. I like O'Reilly, but several times I've been disappointed with his "grilling" of an opponent who holds a completely opposite position than his ... it too often comes off as a mutual-admiration-because-of-our-celebrity softball discussion.

Perhaps a little show-prep would help Bill. See:

Bill is guilty of 'bloviating', but he exposes lots. He is full of himself, but I can tolerate him most time. My 21 yearold son LOVES to hear him do the MOST RIDICULOUOS ITEM OF THE DAY and viewer email where he rips someone a new a$$HOLE.

I am looking forward to tonight's Michael Fatso interview.

"I beleive O'Reilly said last night that the interview was already done (it will be on tape)".

Looks like it was pre-recorded: FNC showed a preview a short while ago; in the short clip, O'Reilly is NOT giving him a pass.

It's even worse if its a woman. He talked all big and bad at how he was going to go off on Rosie. He folded like a cheap table. And when he interviewed Goldie Hawn, he got all googly-eyed with her.

He talks a big talk, but never walks the walk.

Perhaps it is because when I observe O'Reilly I get the same sense I do when McCain appears. He may be a good guy, I don't personally know him. I've watched him a few times cheering him on BUT I'm never confident his position will remain consistent. I see him as an opportunist.

It doesn't matter that he isn't 100% conservative. Colmes is a Liberal and I respect him even when he is infuriating. Only with Colmes I know he'll remain consistent not only to his liberal views but in his obligations as a journalist.
