I think this article would have made a great vanity piece in FR, but for a mainstream publication the tone is completely wrong.

I liked it but I respect your position. However, there is huge world of difference between what she does and what Moore does.

Moore is a liar. Ann isn't. That's important to remember.

It hurts her credibility when she argues that Democrats are beyond the pale when they refer to Republicans as 'Nazis', after having just begun her article by calling Democrats 'spawn of satan'.

You are missing her point. She is talking about how liberals in the media resort to destroying the truth and muddling the mind. To talk about someone accusing someone of being a Nazi is not the same thing as accusing someone of being a Nazi.

Further, this work is not her normal weekly column, this has to be dashed off daily to report on the day's events. The President has been compared to Hitler, Michael Moore's film is completely outrageous, the former vice president has accused the current President of betraying the country, and you're concerned about a little payback from an independent columnist?
