I think this article would have made a great vanity piece in FR, but for a mainstream publication the tone is completely wrong.

The Left despises being ridiculed. Taking a page from Lao Tzu, Ann proceeds to heavily ridicule them.

Further, this work is not her normal weekly column, this has to be dashed off daily to report on the day's events. The President has been compared to Hitler, Michael Moore's film is completely outrageous, the former vice president has accused the current President of betraying the country, and you're concerned about a little payback from an independent columnist?
