As a New Jersey resident, I don't think this is offensive at all - actually, it's pretty damn funny.

Sure it is. I'm sure the articles are harmless fun. But Democrats are supposed to be extra-sensitive and, although regional idiosyncrasies are fine, talking about African-American speech is a no-no.
