That's a possibility, because honestly, I haven't looked at it until you asked, at which point I went up to the box (it's far enough away that the small format display is too small for me) and looked. When I switched around to a couple different HD channels, it definitely changed. The broadcast tonight looks as good as anything I've seen.

It does look good. Supposedly DIRECTV is 'format agnostic' with regard to HD. But seeing Kerry's ugly mug in high definition was a little too much 'Reality TV'!
