Kerry just 'threw' out the opening pitch at the Boston-Yankees game. Just saw Kerry pitch a really weak opening pitch, well short of the plate, bouncing under the catcher. What a poser!

Actually, many regular season games have ceremonial first pitches. They usually happen a while before the game gets underway, and are usually not shown on any TV coverage. The Yankees don't do it much, which is my main frame of reference, but at any rate, they usually don't show them on tv, like you said. But ESPN has to make this the evening of Kerry. Barf-a-rama!

I commented on another thread that after sitting between Kerry and John Glenn for 9 innings, the soldier would be begging to go back to Baghdad. Looks like he couldn't wait 9 innings.
Now if that doesn't tell you something about Kerry. He has a photo op with a war vet, has him sit next to him in the box for one inning and then the soldier is quietly removed from the box in the next inning.

Actually it's an insult to girls I think some people are confusing the term 'girlyman' with the term 'girl'. A girlyman is a man who is 'girly' because he lacks the features of a man, not because he possesses the features of a girl.

NESN does the Red Sox home games in 1080i Maybe ESPN is using NESN's equipment for this game? I have a 4 yr old RCA integrated 38" HDTV (1080i native) I don't have an indicator to tell me what format I'm watching. I'd like to know what kind of HD tuner you've got?
