Kerry just flubbed the opening pitch at the Yanks-Sox game

Kerry just 'threw' out the opening pitch at the Boston-Yankees game. Just saw Kerry pitch a really weak opening pitch, well short of the plate, bouncing under the catcher. What a poser!

Barf alert -- Kerry's sitting in the very first row next to the servicemen. John Glenn is there as well.

Does anyone doubt he's not wearing adult diapers as a result of his prostate removal?

Kinda makes that remark he made about John Edwards being in diapers while he was serving in Viet Nam more than ironic.

Kerry being booed in a baseball park is not that huge. Now if it were a yacht race, that would be a different matter.

When John Kerry loses the presidental election, perhaps he could make a go of the Miss America title.

Ah, the perfect metaphor.

Kerry pitches to the left, low and in the dirt...

By tomorrow he'll be bragging about how effective his sinker is.

Unidentified reporter: Sen. Kerry, that first pitch sucked. What happened?

Kerry: Well, as you know, I served in Vietnam and I suddenly flashed back to a day on the Magenot Line. I had to single-handedly charge up a sheer cliff called Pork Chop Hill to rescue the crew of a downed submarine. I was just getting to the part where I lobbed a grenade into a German bunker filled with unarmed men, women and children.....and that's when I threw the pitch. Did I mention I served in Vietnam?"

most of the boos directed at Cheney were because of the long security lines to get into the Stadium that night - many fans missed the start of the game.

I don't know, perhaps the same thing happened here with Kerry.

But it any case, this was a mis-step by the Kerry campaign. Why risk a negative reaction at a venue with unfiltered media coverage, where viewers can see and hear the event for themselves, without having Rather & Jennings explain to them what they actually just heard.

After the pitch comes up short and rolls past the "catcher", Kerry pumped his fist in the air in triumph.

Guess he ignored the booing sounds too huh??

HAHAHAHHAHAHA

Wouldn't surprise me one bit to find Kerry flip-flopped on a promise like that.

Is that a feminine walk or not?

I think it's called a plie or something like that. Maybe Ron Reagan has been giving him pitching lessons. :=)

That photo somehow reminds me of ballet more than baseball. Was he attempting the foot position for 3, 4 or 5?
