It's been my experience that many stereotypes are rooted in a bit of truth. By definition alone, a stereotype is a gross exaggeration or oversimplification of something.

If one wants to change how people see them, then one must change themselves, from either an individual or pluralistic point of view.

I want white children to take as much pride in their culture as I take in mine.

In today's regime of political correctness, that isn't permitted. Whites - and all elements of traditionally White culture - are actively suppressed. If one so states, one risks being accused of being a Nazi.

In the first "Men in Black" movie, Will Smith's character, during his testing, shoots a carboard cutout of eleven year old white girl in the forehead. His explanation is that she's a little white girl in the ghetto at 2 am with Quantam Physics books, and that those books are way too advanced for her.

I've always wondered what the reaction would have been if Tommy Lee Jones' character had shot an eleven year old black girl in the forehead, and explained that she was in a white neighborhood with books that were too advanced for her.

BTW, I think the reason there hasn't been that much reaction to the "White Chicks" movie is because it bombed, and also, of course, because reverse discrimination is acceptable to the media elite.

Well, actually, that old "sticks and stones" things is NOT true. Words can AND DO hurt; it just depends on who speaks the words.

Words from some anonymous twit don't matter. Words from family/friends do hurt. Children especially.

That said, whites have better things to do than stand around and be "offended."

I'm a white, green-eyed, natural blond but I'm not a victim. I think a lot of blond jokes are hilarious and because I'm blond, everyone sends me blond jokes. I don't take offense because I don't think I'm a dumb blond but I HAVE done a few dumb things in my life. I can laugh at myself. If anyone is stupid enough to believe in stereotypes, I probably don't want to know them.

Humor is usually just taking the every day occurrence and exaggerating it. It contains some truth but it isn't the truth and we all recognize someone or ourselves in it and that's what makes it funny.
