Your ignorance is appalling ... the Aussies have a very viable and potent military ... they also have a "kick ass" attitude to go along with it.

I think what the poster is getting at, is the fact that the Australian government has basically disarmed its citizens and left them 'sitting ducks' for criminals and terrorists to prey upon.
