The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Australia and Italy have received warnings through a statement purportedly from militants linked to al Qaeda that demanded those countries withdraw troops from Iraq.

We are the "Stotters" who make ourselves aware of the enemy who wishes to do us harm.

I'm here. I refuse to be intimidated. If I stay home today, they could hit tomorrow or the next day, or next week. We just have to accept it and deal with it. I feel pretty safe here with the high level of security. From what I've seen, there's no way they can get a car bomb anywhere near any of these buildings (during this high security period anyway). I fear more that they will hit somewhere else while the focus is in NYC. The security in midtown was noticeably stepped up but not as much as I expected it would be. The fruit guy and the other ME vendors are here today. The NASDAQ Building was heavily guarded as were a couple of the bank buildings I walked past. I'm in midttown - I think the financial district has the heavily armed forces. I plan to stick it out for another year until my son finishes up his last year of high school -- then my husband and I are giving up the stressful life and will be heading down to Texas.
