The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

'She who must be obeyed'...
She's trained you well!

How do you know her and why do you two keep talking about my wife?

Once again, our technology is being used against us. As promised. Also, I noticed on a ME military/defense site one of the regular poster's taglines reads "It is right to be taught, even by an enemy" quoting Ovid.

US Military moving significant equipment and men from N.Korea to Iraq. Sounds like a lot of equipment.

Looks to me like we're beefing up our firepower in Iraq. Any idea as to why? I keep thinking about Iran and their nuclear ambitions.

Here's the link to the story. What do you folks think?

Some more info on that Syrian "band" doing the dry run. Apparently they like suicide bombers....

The Syrian singer of a band that was detained by the FBI's Terrorism Task Force for suspicious activity during a recent flight to Los Angeles has written about the "glorification" of suicide bombers to liberate Palestine. Singer Nour Mehana's latest album includes the song "Um El Shaheed," or "Mother of a Martyr," said Aluma Dankowitz of the Middle East Media Research Institute.

The rest of it is here

Can anyone exlpain to me please what John Edwards was talking about last night? Here's the quote that kept me awake:

"With our credibility restored, we can work with other nations to secure stockpiles of the world's most dangerous weapons and safeguard this extraordinarily dangerous material. We can finish the job and secure the loose nukes in Russia"

1) To what "loose nukes" is he referring?

2) How the *L* are WE going to secure loose nukes IN Russia???
