I hope the senior centers can do the job. So much depends upon the volunteers and under extreme duress I would imagine that corp would to a degree evaporate. It will be hard enough for the trained emergency and medical staff of every community to respond as they will want to stay with their children. I expect thinks to unravel quickly until folks feel safe stepping outside.

Tape posted on Web site says killings of Muslims justifiable


CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - A tape posted on an Islamic Web site today offers justification for killing Muslims.

The voice on the tape says the killings are O-K if a Muslim's presence protects infidels and threatens revenge on Shiites.

The tape was purportedly made by the spiritual advisor to two terrorist groups, including the al-Qaida linked group headed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (AH'-boo MOO'-sahb ahl-zahr-KOW'-ee).

Authorities say the tape was clearly recorded before the power handover in Iraq -- because the speaker questions whether it will be carried out on time. (snip)

Court papers say a motorist stopped along Interstate 80 earlier this month told state troopers he knew people tied to al-Qaida, and that there were terrorist plans to shoot trams and trains in San Diego.

If I were a møøselimb I'd lie awake at night wondering how I'm going to answer the questions:

"What did you know and when did you know it?" and "Why didn't you TELL us?!?!" after he next attack.

To question #1: I knew they were going to shoot up trains and trolleys in my home town.

To question #2: I wuz saving it for something important, like slithering out of a seatbelt violation.

First of all, I didn't open them. Second, I may be guilty of jumping to a conclusion without enough facts and wrongly accusing Fr and/or ATS, and for that I apologize. I have a handful of personal and business email accounts, and the only one that has had a sudden spike in virus-containing attachment emails is the one I used for registering here and on ATS.
