SALT LAKE CITY — Fox News has learned from family and investigative sources that bloodstains have been found all over the apartment of Mark and Lori Hacking (search).
Police sources say that when they entered the Hacking apartment earlier in the week, it appeared to have been cleaned. But investigators detected a substantial amount of blood using the forensic chemical luminol (search), which can make even well scrubbed bloodstains glow blue-green in the dark, sources say. Police say they believe the blood is Lori’s and that she was attacked in her apartment. Toxicology results that can confirm whether it is Lori’s blood are still pending

Coverage of the Peterson trial is overblown, I agree, but the coverage of that night when the Peterson case broke was not overblown.
IIRC, hubby was trying to purchase a new mattress a few days ago. Hmmm ... get a rope.
I expect he's going to try an insanity plea, but it won't work. He was sane enough to cover the crime up (poorly) before he decided he was nuts.

Also, Lori's dad (per FOXNEWS site) is turning against Mark. I knew this was going to sink in to her family. Sorry it took them so long. I would have turned on my son-in-law by Tuesday morning.
That's got to be the creepiest thing in the world; to go into an apparently "clean", normal looking room -and then see bloodstains when the lights went low - would just freak me out completely.
Well if that's the case, please don't ever take an ultraviolet light into a hotel room. You'll see, uh, things. Dried things.

she was a tiny lady, around 100lbs... he must have stuffed her in the mattress so he could get her body out of the apartment.
Or another scenario, Lori died on an abortionist's table and he's hiding the body....
However, they don't want to talk about Mark. All they want to do is bring her home. The one brother said that 'Mark needs time to heal.' Time to HEAL????
And they aren't pointing fingers at anyone else. There is something going on with the families. I can't put my finger on it.
Also, the one brother said that Mark isn't in a mental hospital. So........now we think he might be hid out at one of the homes. I wonder when he got out of the hospital........
Or maybe he just whacked her.
