WHY BUSH MUST WIN

While I disagree with you on just about every domestic issue a liberal could dream up, I strongly agree with your assertion that "Bush Must Win" if we are to continue to send the bin Ladens of this world crawling into their caves and spider-holes in the ground. Your comparison of the George Bush Doctrine to the Monroe and Truman Doctrines is fitting indeed. Thank you also for discussing the anti-American activities of the unconvicted manslaughter-criminal and Senator-for-life Ted "Chappaquiddick" Kennedy. That was refreshing to read coming from someone in the same political party. It is important that you know now that I am not a Republican, I am an Independent who believes political parties have stolen representative government from the people by voting party line instead of constituent line.

Is former NY city Mayor Koch scheduled to speak at the RNC Convention? If he isn't, he should be. Excellent article. Thanks for the post!

From the article:

Kerry is a patriotic American who performed heroically in the Vietnam War. Regrettably, he surrendered his philosophical independence to the left wing in the recent primaries...

I personally doubt that kerry ever was a patriotic American. IMHO, he went to Vietnam solely to beef up his resume for his political future and returned to his anti-American ways shortly thereafter.

Bush will win, despite what the liberals and right wing nutters say.

The Bush approach to the war is fight them over there. He fights an offensive war. The kerry approach (defensive war), would bring them here. To 'keep Americans safe', he'd have to federalize all law enforcement (for coordination), we'd have national id (can't discriminate or profile), we'd have to hire a lot more law enforcement (think Unionized democrat army), and a complete loss of national identity.

This has nothing to do with the article, but the U.S. representative government has been a party system from it's establishment. Jefferson and Adams were not independents.
