Nope Streep was the big time anti-apple Annie back then. She even made tv commercial spots. Lange may have jumped on that band wagon, she does anytime she thinks it'll get her sagging career any exposure.

Streep spoke out about the dangers of the controversial pesticide on a "60 Minutes" program and before the U.S. Congress.
