News Advisory:
Pro-life activists will file a federal lawsuit against the Secret Service at the Democratic Convention in Boston.
This lawsuit comes after the Secret Service informed the Christian Defense Coalition they would not be allowed to hold a prayer vigil on Sunday evening, July 25, at Sen. Kerry's house.
The group had been granted a permit by the City of Boston for the vigil. Activists will discuss the lawsuit at a news conference on Saturday, July 24, at 12 p.m. at the State House in Boston.
The lawsuit will be filed on Monday, July 26, at 10 a.m., at the Moakley Federal Court.
For further information or for interviews, call Rev. Patrick Mahoney at 202-547-1735 or 202-538-4741.
That'd wake'em up!
Counter productive.
I disagree! Since when is it counter prodictive to stand up for your right to pray anywhere and anytime in this country!?
