"Good question - since supply and demand is now broken"

What? Explain that one.

***

"...and the workforce has no bargaining position..."

False. More on that later.

***

"...they invest in lower wage jobs and bust the workforce down to the level of third world countries through creation of part time, minimum wage paying jobs."

They couldn't do that without the law of supply and demand permitting them to do so.

***

"Hmm, curiously similar to what we are seeing now. No more supply and demand means Company rule."

Again, please explain. How has the law of supply and demand been repealed?

***

"The employee no longer has bargaining power of any kind nor does supply of labor work in favor of the employee. IE checks and balances of the old system no longer exist and the public is being bs'ed into a system that they have no control over or say in."

Absolutely false. Any employee that is valuable to a company has tons of bargaining power. Develop your skills to a point where it is worth not only keeping you but paying you even more. I'm just a clerical worker but I'm good enough at what I do that I have had employers in bidding wars over me. This would not be the case if I spent all my time trying to do the minimum to get by and acting as if I'm doing the company a favor by showing up two days in a row. THIS IS THE DIRTY LITTLE SECRET THE BUCHANANITES AND LABOR GOONS DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW: PEOPLE THESE DAYS ARE SO SLIPSHOD ABOUT THEIR WORK ETHIC, THEIR SKILLS (ESPECIALLY IN CLERICAL) SO CRUMMY SINCE THEY DON'T TEACH ANYMORE IN SCHOOLS, THAT ANYONE WHO SHOWS UP ON TIME EVERY DAY AND GETS THE WORK OUT QUICKLY AND ACCURATELY CAN JUST ABOUT NAME THEIR PRICE.

***

In prep for a one world government presumeably where the same will be true with regard to their presumed future rulers."

BLACK HELICOPTER ALERT!

With labor supply over seas a near endless thing, supply of labor is no longer a bargaining point. The bargaining point becomes the standard of living of the populace you are exploiting for cheap labor. This is why I say supply and demand is broken. The balancing factors for wage were supply of labor vs. supply of jobs. You'd have to run through several billion chinamen before what the local market has to say has any bearing. This is why jobs that a few short months ago were paying 12-15 bucks an hour are now paying 9 or less depending on where it is in the US. And wages will continue to fall. I can point to two examples of this an hour away. I think most here can. Supply and demand is now broken. It's all now in the favor of business - period. Bring on the talking points.
