A BAND OF 14 ILLEGAL ALIEN SYRIANS?!

By Michelle Malkin · July 23, 2004 01:47 AM

WNBC investigative reporter Scott Weinberger reported on Joe Scarborough's MSNBC show tonight that the 14 Syrians on Northwest Flight 327 ALL had expired visas. He said that law enforcement officials xeroxed the men's paperwork without looking at the dates. The visas had expired nearly a month earlier, according to Weinberger.

The heck was why. The victimology grudge people bear regarding the japanese internment camps. Political correctness. Not just Norman Mineta -- PC Churh of Victimology crap pervades the Federal establishment. There is NO goal except diversity and having the best workplace.

If true I want every GD one of them found immediately and deported. And I want the security people fired.

Perhaps the security people knew that making a big deal over a 30 day overstay is a complete waste of time. The Syrians would not have been held and deported, but rather released and told to report for deporatation, or for a deporatation hearing, at a later time. Most do not show.

Imagine what would happen if Americans tried to pull this in Syria! Not that I want us to emulate Syria; 60 days of healthful hard labor prior to deportations would have been fine.

Yes, it's all just a waste of time.

" "tighter" security in this country translates into having a 85 year old grandma w/an artificial hip take off her g-damned shoes at the airport before getting on a plane while Syrians are still allowed to "visit" this country."

Last November I was on a flight from Houston to Seattle. The last passenger to make his way to his seat was a very old man in his mid eighties or older. He needed help to put his cane in the overhead and could hardly walk or sit down. Get this: he explained the delay because the TSA made him TAKE OFF HIS SHOES. I said, "I guess they thought that you might be a terrorist?" and he said in a Texan accent that he had terrorized a number of people in his day.

All of this political correctness will be such a joke for those of us alive after the real terrorists nuke our cities.

Yeah, just a minor oversight. Kinda like 9/11.

Should be a mandatory 1 month in jail at hard labor making licence plates for any illegal alien caught, then deportation.

It would stem the flow of illegals big time if there were a price to be paid, instead of a free trip home.

No way their visas were not checked, the question is why they were released. Everywhere I go they leaf to the last visa and read the date. It is not like you have to call it in or anything. What is the point of looking at a passport if you are not reading the visa stamp, it is like looking at a book just for the pictures without reading the contents!

Someone was making a test of methods to hijack and was suprised to be caught. This story was exposed without government help, just like the voting fraud in FLA.

It got us the right president, and this might expose other ugly truths that people should know about our airport security.

Someone up high does not take airport security seriously where the public does not see for some reason. Why I leave up to the tin-foilers.

I think I read somewhere that they did fingerprint them -- hopefully they are also following them.

The reality is that the people supposedly keeping us "safe" are lAm3rZ. They are Keystone Kops. Incompetent. Lazy. Thuggish. Rent-seeking. Unionized. Sanctimonious. Arrogant.

And they are not interested in YOUR safety.

Thanks for the two links.Copied both to a WORD file for e-mailing. Wish I had the knowledge to provide audio background of "warbling" for additional impact, however the information provided therein is frightening enough.

I guess that't the difference in working for the government and in private industry. No one GETS fired in the gov. Heck look at all the incompentents "we" keep re-electing! It rolls downhill.

I think everyone should watch Scarborough! I sent Fox management an email last week and told them he's the best commentator they "don't" have on FOX and they needed to find a way to hire him.

Then when they retire, we continue to pay them for those killer pensions while most folks in the private sector are lucky to even have medical coverage when they retire.

No way their visas were not checked, the question is why they were released.

Like the millions of illegal aliens pouring in, the gov has gotten to the point where they just pick and choose what laws to want to enforce. For example, if your late on your taxes by one day. You think they'd miss that date?

I had the same thoughts. While it is a good idea to keep most out of the country, we may be able to gain a lot from watching and listening while they are here.
