UPDATE:
I talked to Michael this morning. He's still in a fair amount of pain and they're giving him Lortabs for that. He was able to call the pilot and one of the flight attendants from his flight. Turns out he was doing worse than he originally realized. The flight attendant said he had stopped breathing a couple of times and kept passing out.
The pilot said he turned a 56 minute flight into a 43 minute one. The radar people on the ground were telling him to slow down and he told them to forget it!
As far as his medical condition right now, I don't know any more than I did last night. They're going to be running a bunch of tests today. From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you for your prayers and concern. Waking up to all the beautiful replies on this thread was so comforting to me. I will keep you updated as I find out more.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that Your presence and prayer surround this mother's son ... may he not feel alone but comforted. Touch him with Your healing hand, I pray ... take from him every trace of ailment ... restore him fully to health. Encourage Siouxz and her husband and family that You are standing watch over their beloved son ... thank You that he has set his feet upon a proper path. Prosper him in the way that he should go ... grant to him a life that lives to Your glory, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
