The Punch Line
"It's a real conflict for me when I go to a concert and find out somebody in the audience is a Republican or fundamental Christian. It can cloud my enjoyment. I'd rather not know." -- Ronstadt, in a San Diego Union-Tribune interview.

I am usually not a conspiracy theorist, but I have never seen Linda Ronstadt and Michael Moore together.....put a beard and glasses on her and could it be?? they are the same person???
Yet another of the left's imaginary rights, the right to comfort. Remember that gay type who sued Rutgers because he was "uncomfortable" being in the same building as a Boy Scout building?
That means taking 1/2 of all so-called Republicans also.
I saw her even earlier than '71, at the Mainpoint coffee house in Ardmore, Pa., right after she split with the Stone Ponies. It must have been after, because she was by herself.
I think I read somewhere that Count Dracula was uncomfortable around Crucifixes and sunlight.
Why aren't there howls of protest from the media about such a bigoted statement about "Christians?" Substitute the word "Jews" or "blacks" and imagine the outcry.
If you replace Republicans or Christians with other groups, say gays, blacks, or jews etc and you see how inclusive "caring" democrats can be.
She just can't shut her trap and is digger a hole deeper and deeper.
Linda looks like she should be in movies....Deliverance.
I thought all fat, bimbo, has been singers, who thought their political opinion mattered, were "uncomfortable".
Shows what I know about shows.
Oh ... no! My thighs are touching, and my pantyhose is disolving, right here on stage!
Maestro ... my exit music!
She's a bigot, pure and simple.
It's a shame cause I really liked her music... SO SAD :(

Not sure when she split with the Stone Ponies. I had her first solo album (at least I think it was), "Silk Purse". very country oriented.
You would think that entertainers would stay out of controversy to avoid alienating fans. Not so anymore. She is in the same category as BahBah Striesand.
Blessings, Bobo
Silk purse was the album that she was touting at the time that I saw her. I think it may have '68 or '69.
Linda Ronstandt......I remember that name from somewhere. Didn't she have a singing career about, oh, I don't know.....30 years ago?
You know she did that album with Aaron Neville, a while ago and I saw him at a charity thing a few years ago. I really like Aaron Neville.
She uses cocaine? I didn't know that about her. I remember her when she and governor Moon Beam were an item in California.
