The Punch Line
"It's a real conflict for me when I go to a concert and find out somebody in the audience is a Republican or fundamental Christian. It can cloud my enjoyment. I'd rather not know." -- Ronstadt, in a San Diego Union-Tribune interview.

The feeling is mutual, and then some.
Expect to see some "John 3:16" signs front row!
...she sits AROUND Republicans.
Liberals are a brood of vipers.
Don't worry, Linda. After saying that, I'm sure you won't have to worry your pretty, coked-up little head about seeing any Republicans at your shows...
Makes sense. Can't have moral people around, might be catching.
what a loser!
Ack!!!!!!!!!
I have had virtually every Rondstat album in my possession at one time or the other (even "Silk Purse") Even seen her at a free concert at NAU (Northern Arizona University) in 1971.
Great music, charasmatic and alluring, mesmerizing voice.
And BOY! She looked like a fox back then! Beginning to believed in evolution.
Can a fox turn into a pig or a jackaxx? Guess so. I will continue to study.

Lately it seems that liberals are just plain FAT
Perhaps an analgesic cream might sooth her.
She's living proof that you can turn a silk purse into a sow's ear.
She is, however, VERY comfortable around bon bons, potato chips, ice cream sandwiches, cheesecake, and chocolate sundaes.
Well, ya know, Linda -- we'd rather not know what YOUR lame political and/or personal philosophy is, either. And we're paying you. So how about keeping it to yourself, if you want to continue to rake in the cash?
And I was in love with her when I was 16.
Of course, the God she doesn't believe in and the conservative principles I was raised with prevented it.
God knows that chasing after women is not like fishing. Not after the whoppers.
Blessings, Bobo
While on the other hand , she is very comfortable in a buffet line.
Linda and reality are no longer on the same sheet of music.
"It's a real conflict for me when I go to a concert and find out somebody on the stage is a Democrat or NewAger. It can cloud my enjoyment. I'd rather not know."
But she is VERY comfortable around pastry chefs and Mr. Softee....
I'd like to know because I can live w/o ONE STINK'IN LIBERAL on this planet.
